In-School Presentations

Our Ag Literacy Team:

  • Presentations are available free of charge to elementary and middle school classes on a variety of agriculture related topics. 
  • Programs meet the requirements of the Common Core Curriculum.  
  • Programs include hands-on activities that are sure to excite the minds of all children and make their experience a memorable one!
  • Classroom resources and lessons plans for a variety of agricultural topics and shows how to incorporate them into your existing curriculum (meets Common Core requirements.)
  • Teacher Workshops and Seminars to learn how to best utilize Ag in the Classroom materials
  • Summer Ag Institute, a week-long continuing education class offered to educate teachers on agricultural topics.
  • A library of agricultural related books available for loan from our office.
  • Project materials for hands-on activities. Materials are free of charge.  Books and activity kits are available on a loan basis.
  •  Free Ag Mags for students.  These commodity based publications help students learn about different agricultural topics through information text.
